Well this has got to be the longest most stretched out wedding extravaganza which followed one of the shortest engagements. We are super excited(meaning stressed, anxious, over tired and overwhelmed) for our wedding reception this weekend. What started out as a simple picnic has turned into a sorta-wedding reception. It's hard not too! When people are traveling in from all over the country it's hard not to feel like you need to show them a great time and show your appreciation through lots of food, drinks, music and maybe a photo booth. Ok, maybe the photo booth is more for me...photos are my thing.
Add to all this tons of home improvement projects and two teachers who moved classrooms and have over 100 boxes to unpack and new grade levels to learn by September 1st(common core and APPR and all their mysteries included). It's been one busy summer! If we can survive this summer we'll do alright.
So the bottom line is that we are looking forward to 2:00 on Saturday when all the prep will be done and we can just enjoy a fun party with our family.
